Title: MY FATHER... WORTHY OF MY WORSHIP
Scripture:
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.”
Matthew 6:9
Sisters…
I’ve always prayed to the Father.
I knew who He was… but I didn’t always see Him that way.
I saw Him as God... holy, sovereign, powerful.
And He is all of that… worthy of reverence, honor, and awe.
But there’s another side of Him…
One that isn’t less than His holiness
it’s a deeper revelation of His heart.
Some call Him Daddy, a name that speaks to closeness, intimacy, and nearness.
Others say Father, a name that carries honor, reverence, and authority.
And here’s the truth, Sister…
He is both.
He is high and lifted up…
and He is near and present.
He is the God we bow before…
and the Father who draws us close.
So whether your heart cries out “Father”…
or “Abba”…
or even “Daddy” in a moment of need…
He responds to His children.
And when that revelation settles in your heart,
your worship hits different.
Real.
Deep.
Full of reverence… and relationship.
Let's Pray...
H — Honor (Thanksgiving & Adoration)
Father, I thank You for being present in my life.
Thank You for every moment You covered me, kept me, and cared for me.
Thank You for hearing me when I called and answering me when I needed You.
I honor You for who You are... holy, righteous, and sovereign.
You are a good Father... faithful, compassionate, and full of love.
You are great and greatly to be praised, and I worship You with my whole heart.
O — Open (Confession)
Forgive me for every time I kept my distance.
For every moment I did not fully trust Your heart toward me.
For every place I misunderstood who You are as Father.
P — Petition
Father, draw me closer to You.
Reveal Yourself to me in a deeper way.
Heal every place in my heart that needs Your love.
Teach me to trust You fully and rest in Your care.
Let my relationship with You grow stronger and more real.
E — Exclaim (Decree & Declare)
I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears (Psalm 34:4).
You are my Father, and I am Your child (2 Corinthians 6:18).
You are with me, You strengthen me, and You help me (Isaiah 41:10).
In Jesus' name, Amen
