Discern the Season You’re In

Jacqueline Llano

Scripture:

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)

Beloved, every woman has a season, and every season has an assignment.
Some seasons stretch you.
Some steady you.
Some heal you.
Some prepare you.
And some… carry you into rooms you prayed for.

But no matter the season, God is the One who teaches you how to walk through it.

This week, the Lord is calling His daughters to Discern the Season You’re In by His voice, His timing, and His presence.

Let's Pray...

H — HONOR

Father, we honor You as the Keeper of seasons.
You know the beginning from the end.
You see the road before us long before we take the first step.
And You faithfully lead us with wisdom, patience, and peace.

O — OPEN CONFESSION

Lord, we admit that sometimes we run ahead of Your timing, shrink back when You’re calling us forward, or misunderstand what You’re doing in our hearts.
We confess impatience, discouragement, and the moments we’ve tried to discern seasons through our feelings instead of Your Word.

P — PETITION

Teach us our season, Father.
Reveal what You’re cultivating.
Show us where to rest, where to rise, where to build, and where to release.
Give us clarity for today and a steady hope for tomorrow.
Let Your Spirit tune our ears to Your voice.
Draw us into a deeper nearness than ever before.

E — EXALTATION (Scripture + Declaration)

Scripture:
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” — Psalm 32:8

Declaration:
Today I walk in divine timing, divine wisdom, and divine alignment.
The Lord is teaching me my season, and I respond with confidence and clarity.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declarations for the Week

  1. I walk in step with the Spirit, not in step with fear, pressure, or old timelines.
  2. God’s wisdom rises in me daily, and His peace confirms my next step.
  3. My emotions do not lead me; the Holy Spirit orders me.
  4. Every season God leads me into carries purpose, preparation, and promise.
  5. The Lord is drawing me near, teaching me to hear, and strengthening my discernment.

Scriptures for the Week

 Day 1 — Ecclesiastes 3:1

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

 Day 2 — Psalm 32:8

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”

Day 3 — Isaiah 30:21

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”

Day 4 — Proverbs 16:3

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”

Day 5 — Galatians 5:25

“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”

Day 6 — James 1:5

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Day 7 — Habakkuk 2:1

“I will stand at my watch… I will look to see what He will say to me.”

As we sit with this word, discerning the season we’re in,  I sense the Father inviting us into something deeper this week. A gentle pull. A holy nudge. A call to nearness.

That’s why today begins our  7-Day Draw Me Near Prayer Challenge.

If the season you’re in requires clarity…
If it requires strength…
If it requires peace, alignment, or fresh direction…
then the first step is simple:

Draw near to Him.
And He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

Each day this week, we’re taking one step closer to the Father together.
The Prayer Room is open, sis.
