Title: A HEART THAT FORGIVES
Scripture:
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32
Sisters… Beloved,
This week, we are stepping into a heart posture of forgiveness.
Not surface-level forgiveness…
Not “I’ll forgive if they change” forgiveness…
But the kind that flows from the heart of God.
Because before we were ever asked to forgive…
We were forgiven.
Freely. Repeatedly. Completely.
And now God is calling us higher…
Not to keep count…
Not to hold on…
But to walk in a heart that forgives.
A heart that chooses obedience over emotion…
A heart that releases, even when it still feels tender…
Because forgiveness is not just something we do,
it is who we become when we stay close to Him.
Let's Pray...
H – Honor (Adoration)
Father, You are holy, merciful, and full of compassion.
You are a forgiving God, rich in love and abounding in grace.
O – Open (Thanksgiving & Forgiveness)
We thank You for forgiving us again and again…
for not holding our sins against us.
Lord, we ask that You forgive us for the times we have held on to offense…
for the times we chose hurt over obedience…
for the times we hardened our hearts instead of turning it over to you.
P – Petition
Create in us a clean heart, O God.
Give us a heart that forgives quickly and freely.
Help us to release every offense, every hurt, every memory that still tries to linger.
Lord, we choose forgiveness.
Not because it’s easy… but because we desire to obey You.
Strengthen us by Your Spirit to forgive again and again.
Heal every place that still feels tender.
E – Exalt (Decree & Declare)
We decree Your Word:
We forgive each other, just as in Christ God forgave us. (Ephesians 4:32)
Declarations:
I have a heart that forgives.
I release every offense and walk in freedom.
I forgive as I have been forgiven.
I am not bound by bitterness; I am free in Christ.
The Holy Spirit empowers me to forgive again and again.

Beloved…
This is the week you stop carrying what you can turn over to God.
This is the week you release it… for real.
Not because they changed…
Not because they apologized…
But because your heart belongs to God.
And when your heart is aligned with Him… forgiveness flows,
healing begins, and freedom follows.
Let this be the moment you say:
“I forgive… and I am free.”
